Classes

3 - 12 months

 

In this group children will enjoy simple songs and rhymes with the help of props, instruments and baby sign. Develop skills to help  encourage the children's early communication skills such as anticipation, imitation and eye contact.

 

12 months - 2 years

 

This age group starts to explore early sound and word imitation, choice making and continues to build on your child's overall communication. The children will enjoy a variety of songs and music with the use of some fun props along the way. 

2 - 3 years

 

Children will enjoy music and lots of active movement to keep them engaged and interested. This group aims to promote listening skills, awareness of other children and development of vocabulary, 

3 - 5 years

 

This group is aimed at children in their preschool years. Through songs, music and movement the focus will be on building children's attention and listening, social skills, and their ability to understand language and express themselves.   

 

 . 

Beats & Babble aims to use songs, music and movement to support children's communication and overall development and provide ideas on how you can be incorporate these activities into everyday routines.

All staff are encouraged to participate in the sessions with the children - singing, moving to music, using props and playing instruments. Please be assured no musical ability is required. And don't worry, all singing is conducted in a group setting, you won't be singled out!
